RP Announces Distribution Partnership with HellermannTyton to Expand Solar Balance-of-System Offering

MONTEREY, CA. (May 28, 2024)—RP Construction Services (RP), a leading value-added distributor serving the utility-scale solar industry, announced today that it is partnering with HellermannTyton to include HellermannTyton’s wire management solutions as part of RP’s end-to-end electrical balance-of-system (eBOS) offering.

RP has long been a leading distributor of structural balance-of-system solutions for the utility solar market. “Most balance-of-system procurement is way more complicated than it needs to be. We’ve built a business around providing our customers with what they actually need: an integrated set of products that they can rely on for efficiency and performance over and over again.” said Eben Russell, President of RP. “Wire management isn’t glamorous, but it’s a key to success on any site. We’re excited to be partnering with HellermannTyton to provide our customers with fastening solutions that will hold up under tough conditions for the long haul.”

RP is bringing its end-to-end eBOS offering to market as aggregate demand for electricity in the United States is projected to increase for the first time in decades. Utilities, ISOs, and large power customers have been vocal about the need for accelerated deployment of new generation facilities to serve increased load from new data centers, manufacturing facilities, and electrification trends. “We’re working with our partners to streamline the solar project design and procurement process,” says Russell. “It’s the only way to stay ahead of the curve.”

HellermannTyton is a global leader in wire management and protection products and identification systems. The company offers a complete line of wire management products made with materials that are specifically engineered to withstand exposure to UV, temperature, and mechanical stresses on solar sites. “RP has a deep commitment to helping customers succeed with single-axis trackers, and we offer high performance wire management products that complement their existing product line,” said Mike Graves, Executive Director of Sales at HellermannTyton. “This partnership is about setting even more solar projects up for long term success.”
